Obviously, with 40 recording stations it is not possible to continuously record all the channels aired in India. The religious channels do not advertise directly, but we keep an eye on them as well. The other part is that we have 3 people dedicated to viewing the captured advertising to ensure duplicates don't get through and variants are also not missed. Sounds an easy task, but it's fairly often that advertising is re-released with minor variation of say a logo, and it needs a sharp eye to catch variants and avoid duplication. Fortunately, our data mining system is very robust and simplifies the task as we have a large number of parameters on which advertising is logged into our systems.
